TIMRAN organized a two-day Women’s Peace Forum in Jimma. The forum was completed by designing a strategy for Oromiya women’s effective participation in the process of regional and national peace building. The main objective of the forum was to enhance women’s engagement and to emphasize on peace-building in the way of promoting women’s role in peace-building process. In addition to designing a strategy participants also created platform which enables those women stakes to work together with TIMRAN in peace building-processes.

ትምራን የሴቶች የሰላም መድረክ በጅማ አካሄደች። መድረኩ ለኦሮምያ እና ለኢትዮጵያ የሚሆን ሴቶችን ሊያሳትፍ ሚችል ስትራተጂ (ስልት) በመንደፍ ተጠናቋል፡፡የውይይት መድረኩ ዋና አላማ በሰላም ግንባታ ሂደት ውስጥ የሴቶችን ሚና ማሳደግ ላይ ትኩረት ያደረገ ሲሆን ተሳታፊዎች ከትምራን ጋር በመሆን በሰላም ግንባታ ሂደት ውስጥ ተባብረው እንዲሰሩ የሚያስችል የመወያያ እና የመገናኛ መረብም ፈጥረዋል።
