TIMRAN, in partnership with Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA Network), held a validation workshop on July 26, 2022. The validation workshop featured a study on the role and status of women in indigenous and customary peace-building mechanisms and the importance of adopting such mechanisms in the Ethiopian national dialogue in a gender-inclusive manner. Constructive feedback was gathered from key stakeholders, including a Commissioner from the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission; Haadha Siiqees reflected on the role of women in their institution. The study will be finalized and publicly available soon.
ትምራን ከሲሀ ኔትወርክ ጋር በመተባበር የማረጋገጫ አውደ ጥናት ሐምሌ 19፣ 2014ዓ.ም. አካሄዳለች። በማረጋገጫ አውደ ጥናቱ በሀገር-በቀል እና ባህላዊ የሰላም ግንባታ ስርዓቶች ላይ የሴቶች ሚና እንዲሁም እነዚህን ስርዓቶች ፆታ አካታች በሆነ መንገድ ለኢትዮጵያ ሀገራዊ ምክክር የመተግበር ጠቀሜታ ላይ የተደረገ ጥናት ቀርቧል። በአውደጥናቱ ከኢትዮጵያ ሀገራዊ ምክክር ኮሚሽን የተወከሉ ኮሚሽነርን ጨምሮ ከተለያዩ ቁልፍ ባለድርሻ አካላት ገንቢ አስተያየቶች ተነስተዋል፤ ሃደ ስቄዎችም በስርዓታቸው የሴቶች ሚና ምን እንደሆነ ልምዳቸውን አካፍለዋል። ጥናቱ በቅርቡ ለህዝብና ለባለድርሻ ተቋማት ተደራሽ ይሆናል።
