ትምራን ለኢትዮጵያ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች ሴት አባላት ጥምረት ያዘጋጀችው የአመራርነት ሥልጠና ተጀመረ

ትምራን ለኢትዮጵያ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች ሴት አባላት ጥምረት ያዘጋጀችው የአመራርነት ሥልጠና ጥር 02 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም ተጀመረ።

ሥልጠናውን በንግግር የከፈቱት የትምራን ሥራ አስኪያጅ ኢየሩሳሌም ሰሎሞን ትምራን በዋናነት ሴቶች በአመራርነት እና ውሳኔ ሰጭነት ላይ ያላቸው ተሳትፎ እንዲጨምር ለማድረግ  ትኩረት አድርጋ የምትሠራ ሀገር በቀል መንግሥታዊ ያልሆነች ድርጅት ነች ብለዋል።

የሥልጠናው አንኳር ጉዳዮች አቅራቢ የሆኑት የሥራ እና ክሂሎት ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ እንዲሁም የኢትዮጵያ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች ሴት አባላት ጥምረት ዋና ሰብሳቢ ክብርት ነቢሀ መሐመድ፣ በሀገሪቱ ውስጥ የሴቶች ቁጥር እና በሁሉም ዘርፎች ያላቸው አስተዋጽኦ ከፍተኛ መሆኑን ጠቅሰው፣ ነገር ግን ያላቸው ተጠቃሚነት ዝቅተኛ ነው ሲሉ ተናግረዋል። ለአብነትም በሴት የሚመራ ፓርቲ አለመኖሩን ጠቅሰዋል። በሥልጠናው ላይ ከተለያዩ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች ብንሰባሰብም፣ የሴቷ ጉዳይ አንድ ያደርገናል ያሉት ሚኒስትር ዴኤታዋ፣ የሴቷን ችግሮች ቀረፍን ማለት የሀገርን ችግሮች ፈታን ማለት መሆኑን መረዳት ይገባል ሲሉ ተናግረዋል።

የዕለቱ የክብር እንግዳ የኢትዮጵያ ምርጫ ቦርድ ምክትል ሰብሳቢ የተከበሩ አቶ ውብሸት አየለ፣ ሴቶችን በመራጭነት፣ በተመራጭነት እና በአመራርነት የማይቀበል ባሕል መቅረፍ አለብን ብለዋል። ቦርዱ የሴቶችን ተሳትፎ ለማሳደግ አንቀጾችን ከማሻሻል ጀምሮ ብዙ ጥረቶች ማድረጉን አንስተው፣ ነገር ግን ዛሬም ድረስ ሴቶች በኢትዮጵያ ፖለቲካ ውስጥ ያላቸው ተሳትፎ እዚህ ግባ የሚባል አለመሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

የሴቶችን የፖለቲካ ተሳትፎ ለማሳደግ ትምራንን ጨምሮ የሚንቀሳቀሱ ድርጅቶች የሚያደርጉት ጥረት የሚያስመሰግን ነው ብለዋል።  

A leadership training for the coalition of women members of Ethiopian political parties facilitated by TIMRAN kicked off on January 10, 2023.

In her opening speech, TIMRAN Directress Eyerusalem Solomon explained TIMRAN is an indigenous civil society organization that is dedicated to seeing women in leadership and decision-making.

The training keynote guest speaker of the training, State Minister of Labour and Skills and Chairwomen of the Coalition of women members of Ethiopian political parties, HE Nebiha Mohammed said the number of women and their contribution within the country is enormous; nevertheless, their benefit is scanty. The deputy minister indicates there is no political party led by women in the country. Though we came from different political parties; the issue of women makes all of us one. So, when we relieve the challenges of women; it means we get rid of the challenges of the country.

The training guest of honour, National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) Deputy Chairman, HE Wubishet Ayele, said we have to eliminate a culture of discrimination against women’s participation in elections, being electorate, and becoming a leader. NEBE in its capacity tried to make gender-inclusive laws but to this day the participation of women in Ethiopian politics is found at a low rate. He appreciated TIMRAN and other organizations that are dedicated to working on women’s empowerment.
